![]() It was 3 years before this day (August 7, 2012)…God sent another angel in our family. Sophia made our home happier & nosier. And she’s getting prettier everyday… so for her 3rd birthday we did something different (not the usual Princess & Barbie thing). It’s more of her boyish side… a super hero theme, further more “Super Heroine”… It’s Wonder Woman! Wonder Woman was created by the American psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston. The character first appeared in All Star Comics #8 in December 1941 and first cover-dated on Sensation Comics #1, January 1942. The Wonder Woman title has been published by DC Comics almost continuously except for a brief hiatus in 1986. Her depiction as a heroine fighting for justice, love, peace, and sexual equality has led to Wonder Woman being widely considered a feminist icon. (excerpt from Wikipedia.org) As soon as we all agreed to that theme, my husband & I rushed to the mall to look for the costume. Indeed there was a Wonder Woman costume for Sophia & Super Girl costume for her Ate Sam! We’ve chosen 50’s Café of Crown Regency Hotel & Towers (Fuente) for the venue… Perfect for its theme with absolutely good food. To avoid inconvenience in buying party favors, all you have to do is drop by Hannah’s Party Place (Jakosalem St.). It’s a one stop shop for all your party needs. From loot bags, pabitin, piñata, name tags, party hats and a lot more. You can even request for your favorite clown host to grace your party. By the way they have provide party venues as well. As a highlight to her party, I made her a Choco Candy Styro-Cake. Thanks to Kraft Foods (Ms. Glynda) for sending me your unlimited supply of Cadbury. Our pretty Sophia dazzled on her Wonder Woman inspired gown while she blew her candle on top of her cutie cake from Shebz Cupcakes (thanks to her Mommy Marise & Mommy Janet). This theme would be fun since boys could relate to and they could also come in their fave super hero costumes. You could also fill-in super hero trivia games for kids to enjoy.
